Admission to Government First Grade Colleges (GFGC) in Karnataka is primarily conducted online through the Unified University & College Management System (UUCMS) portal. Candidates must register using an Aadhar-linked mobile number, submit applications for specific courses, and pay fees online. Admission is based on merit (PUC/12th marks) and government reservation policies.

  • Application Portal: All applications must be submitted through the official UUCMS portal.
  • Application Steps:
    1. Government Fee – Registration: Register on the UUCMS portal with an Aadhar-linked mobile number for OTP verification.
    2. College Fee – Form Submission: Fill out the application form with accurate personal and academic details.
    3. University Fee – Document Upload: Upload scanned copies of required documents (10th marks card, PUC/12th marks card, caste/income certificate, photo, and signature).
  • Selection Process: A merit list is released based on qualifying examination marks (PUC) and reservation criteria.
  • Document Verification: After seat allotment, candidates must present original documents for verification at the college.
  • Fees Payment: Fees must be paid online through the UUCMS portal to confirm admission.
